I have being collecting Oasis CD's for a good number of years now, but I feel sadly that my main collecting days are somewhat behind me. As a regular collector though I spent many hours looking through the original oasiscollectors.com website, systematically trying to work out what I had and what gaps in my collection there were and for this I will be eternally grateful to Ethan Allen, who built and maintained this site for many years. Sadly, this site hasn't been updated since September 2018 and in fact has many items missing from its database, in particular from 2008 onwards.
So, with a little time on my hands (during the first COVID-19 lockdown in April/May 2020) I decided to create the "My Oasis Collection" website and again I thank Ethan for allowing me to use images from oasiscollectors.com within it.
The "My Oasis Collection" website was officially launched on 18th August 2020.

When I first started to design the website I had two things in mind. Firstly and somewhat selfishly I wanted to showcase "My Oasis Collection" alongside my existing Instagram account. Then secondly I wanted to try and provide other collectors with a go to database, like I had with the original oasiscollectors website, but more up to date and focusing initially on CD releases, although this may expand in time. My focus on CD's was primarily determined by the fact that my own collection is predominantly focused on CD's together with the fact that there are hundreds of Oasis CD releases out there that do not appear to be documented in one place, so it seemed worthwhile doing. The "My Oasis Collection" has now been expanded to included all known DVD and Blu-Ray releases.

"My Oasis Collection" details all known CD/DVD/Blu-Ray releases, well all the ones that I know of, by country, by type/title and by date of official release. The majority of releases within these pages are linked directly to a Discogs page and therefore should you come across an item you don't have and would like more information on, then this ready built database can provide you with the information you require. Where a CD/DVD/Blu-Ray is not listed on Discogs, for whatever reason, you may find the link takes you to a page showing images and/or descriptions of the CD/DVD/B. All images shown are from my personal collection unless it states they have been provided by someone else. The images provided have been used with the permission of the owners credited and I am grateful to these fantastic collectors for allowing me to use their images. If an image has been used, but it is neither my own or I do not have explicit permission to use it then I have made this clear beneath the image. If it transpires that any image used but not credited is owned by you, then please contact me immediately to either provide permission for me to use it and gain credit or ask for it to be removed. Where a CD/DVD/Blu-Ray has no link, then there is no image available or I do not have specific permission to use an image. It should be noted that the inclusion of any CD/DVDs on the "My Oasis Collection" website does not under any circumstances confirm its legitimacy, it merely acknowledges it's existence.

The "My Oasis Collection" website is not perfect, whilst I would like it to be I actually doubt it ever will be, so how can you help to make it better?

1. If you spot a mistake or an error, then let me know. Try to be specific as to what the problem is and detail, if possible, how I can correct it. I shall then endevour to correct it as soon as possible.

2. If you spot something missing from the database, then let me know. As I have said earlier, I believe I have included all of the CD's that I am aware of, however I can't include something that I'm not aware of so if you can provide me with details and possibly images then I can add it as soon as possible.

3. The easiest way to improve the "My Oasis Collection" website is to improve the information held on Discogs. By adding information and images directly onto the Discogs database you will be indirectly improving this website without the need to contact me.

4. If you have images of CD/DVD/Blu-Ray's detailed within the website that are missing and you wish to give me permission to use your images within the website then please contact me as this will be of great benefit to everyone who views "My Oasis Collection". Your permission must be given without restriction of use within the website and I will acknowledge your permission alongside the image in an agreeable manner.

5. If you have any other suggestions as to how the "My Oasis Collection" website can be improved please contact me. Any improvement will be an improvement!

The "My Oasis Collection" website is purely intended for my own personal use and enjoyment (it's a hobby) and I am giving users of the "My Oasis Collection" website permission to view the database without restriction, however the downloading of images from the website should not be undertaken without the permission of the owner under any circumstances.

As previously stated all images shown on the "My Oasis Collection" website are from my personal collection or it states what permission has been given to me to use them. All images provided and credited have been used with the permission of the owner and I am grateful to these fantastic collectors for allowing me to use their images. Permission to use images has be given without restriction of use within the website and I have acknowledged permission alongside the image in an agreeable manner, however, should anyone who has previously given permission for me to use their images decide to retract their permission then please notify me in writing and I shall remove any images for which I no longer have permission to use.

There is no Discogs content embedded directly within the "My Oasis Collection" website and any links to the Discogs website will take you to a separate page within the Discogs website.
